Community service is a county Farm Bureau focus

Your Farm Bureau membership supports Virginia Farm Bureau's work on behalf of farmers statewide.

Closer to home, it also helps support projects that benefit your community.

"We are a federation of county Farm Bureaus, and our members tend to place a high value on service to their communities," said Wayne F. Pryor, president of Virginia Farm Bureau. "Our leaders on the local level volunteer their time to Farm Bureau, and many of them actively volunteer for other organizations as well.

"When you live and farm and raise a family in a community, you have a vested interest in taking care of that community."
